Job Description

The Collections Driver is responsible for collecting mail from post offices, businesses, postboxes and other designated locations, then transporting it safely to the appropriate Royal Mail processing facility. Requirements typically include a valid UK driving licence, safe and responsible driving, good customer service, reliability and the ability to work independently. Candidates should be physically fit enough to handle mail containers, comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and able to follow delivery procedures, security rules and scheduled collection times. Previous commercial driving or logistics experience may be helpful but is not always essential. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends or public holidays may be expected, depending on the route and operational needs.
