Job Description

The Cleaner role involves maintaining clean, hygienic and safe conditions across Royal Mail facilities, including offices, staff areas, toilets, corridors and operational spaces. Duties may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning surfaces and replenishing supplies. Candidates are expected to be reliable, punctual, physically capable and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Attention to detail, a responsible approach to health and safety, and the ability to follow cleaning procedures are important. Previous commercial cleaning experience may be helpful but is not always essential, as training is generally provided. Flexibility may be required for early, late or weekend shifts, depending on the site.
