Job Description

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic and safe working areas across Royal Mail facilities. Duties typically include cleaning offices, staff areas, washrooms, floors and other operational spaces, following cleaning procedures and health and safety standards. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, physically able to carry out routine cleaning tasks and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Attention to detail, a positive attitude and a willingness to follow instructions are important. Previous cleaning experience may be helpful but is not always essential, as training can be provided.
