Destination Guide

Japan offers strong opportunities in luxury hotels, restaurants, tourism, technology, education, healthcare, and international business. Tokyo is the country’s main commercial center and provides excellent transport, dining, shopping, and cultural experiences, though housing and commuting costs can be high. Japanese workplace culture generally values punctuality, respect, teamwork, hierarchy, and careful attention to service standards. Daily life is safe and convenient, with efficient public transport and extensive urban amenities. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work visa, with the appropriate status depending on the role and qualifications; a valid passport, employment contract, and supporting documents are required. Employers often assist with sponsorship, but candidates should confirm visa eligibility before accepting an offer. Learning Japanese is highly beneficial for career growth and everyday integration. Relocation planning should include accommodation, health insurance, taxes, transport, and initial living expenses.
