Job Description

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the resort’s accounting function, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash control, reconciliations, month-end closing and compliance with company policies and Indonesian regulations. Candidates typically need a degree in accounting or finance, hotel or resort accounting experience, strong knowledge of financial controls and accounting systems, and good Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with Marriott procedures, Indonesian tax requirements and hospitality reporting is valuable. The role requires accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and the ability to lead or coordinate a finance team. Strong communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia, commercial awareness, problem-solving ability and readiness to work closely with department heads and management are expected.
