Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a coastal Gulf country made up of seven emirates, with Dubai offering beaches, modern attractions, shopping, dining, and an international social scene. Hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, events, wellness, and customer-service roles provide regular employment opportunities, particularly in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large expatriate community; respectful dress, public behavior, and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle can be vibrant and convenient, though summer temperatures are extremely hot and living costs, especially rent, can be high. Most overseas employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas. Employers commonly arrange medical testing, Emirates ID processing, health insurance, and sometimes accommodation or transport. Candidates should confirm the full package, contract terms, probation period, and any recruitment fees before relocating.
