Job Description

The Account Payable role is responsible for processing supplier invoices, verifying purchase orders and supporting documents, preparing payment batches, reconciling vendor statements, maintaining accurate financial records and responding to supplier queries. Candidates should have experience in accounts payable or hotel finance, good knowledge of accounting procedures, strong numerical and organisational skills, and confidence using accounting or enterprise systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is useful. The successful candidate is expected to work accurately, meet payment deadlines, protect confidential information and follow Marriott and hotel financial controls. Hospitality experience, a relevant accounting qualification and knowledge of Malaysian tax and invoicing requirements would be advantageous.
