Job Description

The Complex Chief Steward leads stewarding operations for The Westin City Centre Bahrain and supports efficient service across kitchens, restaurants, banquets and related facilities. Candidates should have several years of experience in hotel or large-scale food-and-beverage stewarding, with previous supervisory or management responsibility. The role requires strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, dishwashing operations, chemical handling, equipment care, inventory control and workplace safety. The successful candidate is expected to organize staffing and shifts, maintain high cleanliness standards, control operating costs, coordinate closely with chefs and outlet managers, train colleagues and ensure Marriott and local health regulations are followed. Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills are essential, along with flexibility to work weekends, holidays and changing hotel schedules.
