Job Description

The Commis Cook supports the kitchen team with food preparation, basic cooking, portioning, plating and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Candidates should have culinary training or relevant kitchen experience, a basic understanding of food hygiene, and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. The role requires good teamwork, a positive attitude, physical stamina and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate is expected to maintain consistent food quality, work efficiently during busy service periods, follow Marriott and food-safety standards, and keep equipment and workstations properly organised.
