Company Info

TA AKTANA, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, is a high-end Marriott International property in Labuan Bajo, on Flores Island, Indonesia. The resort is positioned to offer an upscale stay connected to the region’s natural beauty, including coastal scenery, island excursions and access to Komodo National Park. As part of Marriott’s Luxury Collection, it is expected to deliver highly personalized service, refined accommodation, distinctive dining and wellness experiences for international and domestic guests. Resort employees generally work in a multicultural hospitality environment and coordinate across hotel operations, finance, guest services and food and beverage departments. The property may suit candidates seeking experience in luxury resort operations, particularly in a developing leisure destination. Exact salary, accommodation, meals, transport and other employment benefits should be confirmed directly with the employer during recruitment.

Destination Guide

Labuan Bajo is a small coastal town on Flores Island and a major gateway to Komodo National Park. Hospitality provides many local opportunities, including hotel operations, restaurants, diving, marine tours, housekeeping, finance and guest services. The lifestyle is slower and more community-oriented than Jakarta or Bali, with warm weather, beautiful beaches and easy access to sailing, snorkeling and trekking. Local culture blends Manggarai traditions with strong Christian and Indonesian influences; respectful dress and behavior are appreciated, especially in villages and religious settings. Housing and imported goods can be more expensive than expected, while transport is often based on scooters and local taxis. Foreign nationals normally need an appropriate Indonesian work visa or work permit arranged with employer support; a tourist visa does not authorize employment. Confirm sponsorship, accommodation, healthcare, taxes and relocation costs before accepting an offer.
