Destination Guide

Australia is a large country and continent rather than a single island, with Perth located in Western Australia. Hospitality opportunities are available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, cafés, events, and tourism businesses, especially in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and regional destinations. Australian workplace culture is generally informal, diverse, safety-conscious, and respectful of work-life balance. Perth offers sunny weather, beaches, outdoor activities, a relaxed lifestyle, and a comparatively spacious urban environment, although housing and transport costs should be planned carefully. International applicants need valid work rights, such as a Working Holiday visa, employer-sponsored visa, or another eligible temporary or permanent visa. Employers normally require a tax file number, Australian bank account, and appropriate certifications; alcohol-serving roles may require Responsible Service of Alcohol training. Research visa conditions, accommodation, healthcare, transport, and minimum wage requirements before relocating.
