Marriott manages a broad portfolio of internationally recognized hotel brands and is known for structured training, service standards, career development, and opportunities to work across global properties. The resort combines leisure accommodation, restaurants, event facilities, spa services, and recreational activities designed for holidaymakers, families, and groups. Destination Guide

Khao Lak is on Thailand's mainland in Phang Nga Province, but it provides easy access to nearby islands and marine destinations including the Similan and Surin Islands, Phuket, and Koh Yao. Hospitality jobs are common in hotels, restaurants, spas, diving operations, and tourism businesses, with stronger seasonal demand during the November-to-April high season. Local life is relaxed, affordable, and centered on beaches, markets, Buddhist temples, seafood, and outdoor activities. Thai is the main language, while English is widely used in tourism. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit before starting work; requirements can vary by nationality and contract. Relocating staff should budget for deposits, transport, healthcare, and rainy-season expenses. Check current immigration rules and clarify accommodation, meals, service charge, insurance, and return-flight policies with the employer.
