Job Description

The Laundry Manager oversees daily laundry and linen operations, ensuring clean, properly finished, and timely items for guest rooms, restaurants, spa, and staff areas. Requirements typically include previous supervisory or management experience in hotel laundry, housekeeping, or a commercial laundry environment; knowledge of washing, drying, pressing, stain removal, chemical handling, inventory control, and health and safety standards; and good communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate is expected to lead and train colleagues, maintain equipment and quality standards, control costs, coordinate with other departments, monitor linen levels, and support Marriott service expectations. Flexibility, attention to detail, physical stamina, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are important.
