Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality opportunities across Metro Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Bohol, and other resort destinations. Manila provides the widest range of hotel, restaurant, casino, and corporate roles, while island locations suit people seeking a slower, outdoor-focused lifestyle. Filipino culture is welcoming, family-oriented, and strongly shaped by community, festivals, music, and excellent English communication. Living costs vary: Manila is more expensive and busy, whereas provincial islands are generally cheaper but may have fewer services and career options. Local applicants need appropriate employment documents and government benefits registration. Foreign workers usually require an employer-sponsored Alien Employment Permit and a valid work visa, commonly a 9(g) pre-arranged employee visa. Confirm requirements with the employer and Philippine immigration authorities before relocating. Reliable healthcare, transport, internet, and housing should also be checked in the chosen destination.
