Job Description

Cook II supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, maintaining food quality, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, sound knowledge of cooking methods, food safety, hygiene standards, and basic kitchen equipment. Training in culinary arts or a related field is helpful. The role requires reliability, stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes and Marriott standards, cooperate with chefs and colleagues, minimize waste, and provide consistently attractive food. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is normally required. Japanese communication skills may be preferred or required depending on the department.
