Job Description

The Apprentice Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating, stock rotation, cleaning and maintaining high food-safety standards. Applicants should have a genuine interest in hospitality, willingness to undertake or continue a commercial cookery apprenticeship, and a reliable, positive attitude. Basic kitchen experience is helpful but not always essential. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, good time management and the ability to work calmly during busy service periods. Candidates should be comfortable standing for long periods, following instructions, working varied shifts including weekends and public holidays, and maintaining Marriott and Sheraton quality standards. A commitment to learning different sections of the kitchen and delivering consistent guest-focused service is expected.
