Job Description

The Director of Sales leads the hotel’s sales strategy, revenue-generating activities, and market development. Requirements typically include extensive experience in hotel sales, strong knowledge of luxury hospitality, proven leadership ability, and fluency in Japanese and English. The candidate is expected to build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and international accounts; develop business plans; achieve revenue targets; coach the sales team; and represent The Ritz-Carlton Osaka professionally. Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and networking skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of the Osaka and wider Japanese luxury travel markets.
