Duty Manager

Job Description

The Duty Manager supports daily hotel operations and acts as the senior manager on duty, ensuring smooth guest arrivals, departures, requests, and service recovery. Requirements typically include hotel or hospitality experience, strong knowledge of front-office operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead colleagues across departments. Familiarity with hotel systems, complaint handling, safety procedures, and cash or billing controls is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions independently, maintain high service standards, resolve guest concerns professionally, and coordinate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food and Beverage, and management. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
