Job Description

The Engineering Supervisor oversees daily maintenance and repair activities throughout Penang Marriott Hotel, helping ensure guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems operate safely and efficiently. Typical requirements include relevant technical qualifications or trade certification, several years of hotel or facilities experience, and practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and preventive-maintenance systems. The candidate should be able to lead technicians, schedule work orders, respond to emergencies, maintain records, coordinate contractors, and follow health, safety, and environmental procedures. Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and supervisory skills are expected. Experience with hotel engineering systems and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays would be advantageous.
