Company Info

Four Points by Sheraton Palawan Puerto Princesa is a beachfront hotel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, operated under the Four Points by Sheraton brand and Marriott International. The property combines practical, comfortable accommodation with access to the area's beaches, marine attractions, and nature-based experiences. Four Points hotels generally focus on approachable service, relaxed social spaces, local food and drink, and dependable facilities for both leisure and business travelers. As part of Marriott International, the hotel benefits from global operating standards, training opportunities, and employee benefits that may vary by position and local policy. Team members are expected to provide warm, efficient hospitality while reflecting the destination's welcoming character. Recreation staff play an important role in helping guests enjoy the resort environment safely and making their stay more engaging and memorable.

Destination Guide

Palawan offers opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism, diving, transport, retail, and outdoor recreation, especially around Puerto Princesa, El Nido, and Coron. Work is often seasonal and customer-facing, so English, reliability, and practical hospitality skills are valuable. Island life is generally relaxed and community-oriented, with fresh seafood, beaches, boat trips, markets, and a strong connection to nature. Living costs can be moderate, although accommodation and imported goods may be expensive in resort areas. Puerto Princesa has better access to hospitals, shopping, schools, and transport than more remote destinations. Foreign nationals normally need an appropriate Philippine work visa or permit arranged with employer support; tourist status does not authorize employment. Applicants should confirm sponsorship, accommodation, medical requirements, taxes, and contract terms before relocating. Domestic flights and ferries connect Palawan with Manila and other islands, but weather can occasionally disrupt travel.
