Job Description

The Bar Attendant prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, takes orders, processes payments, maintains bar cleanliness and restocks supplies. Candidates should have strong customer-service and communication skills, a professional presentation, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy hotel environment. Previous bar, restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is generally required in Victoria, along with legal working rights in Australia. The successful candidate is expected to deliver friendly, prompt service, follow hotel standards, work cooperatively with colleagues and remain flexible for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
