Job Description

The Junior Sous Chef supports the Grand Café kitchen operation by supervising daily food preparation, maintaining consistent quality, coordinating kitchen colleagues, and assisting the Sous Chef with service and menu execution. Candidates should have professional culinary experience, preferably in a hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant, along with strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, stock control, and kitchen procedures. Japanese-speaking ability is expected, with sufficient English or another working language useful in an international hotel environment. The successful candidate should be organized, hands-on, calm during busy services, and able to train and motivate team members. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.
