Destination Guide

Thailand offers hospitality, event, restaurant, diving, wellness, and tourism jobs in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, and other island destinations. Phuket and Koh Samui provide a relaxed beach lifestyle with international communities, while Bangkok offers broader career opportunities, public transport, shopping, and cultural attractions. Thai culture values politeness, respect for elders, modest dress at temples, and the customary wai greeting. Living costs vary: island accommodation and peak-season rentals can be expensive, whereas local food and transport remain affordable. Foreign workers normally need a Non-Immigrant B visa and a work permit arranged with an employer before legally working; requirements can change, so confirm details with the Thai embassy and employer. Relocating usually involves securing employment, certified documents, suitable housing, health insurance, and funds for the first months. Learning basic Thai is highly useful for daily life and workplace relationships.
