The Sous Chef – Asian Cuisine supports the Executive Chef by overseeing daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cooking standards and service delivery for Asian cuisine outlets. Requirements typically include professional culinary training, several years of experience in an Asian kitchen, strong knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques, food-safety certification, and the ability to lead a multicultural team. The successful candidate is expected to maintain Marriott quality standards, control food costs, minimise waste, train and motivate colleagues, coordinate with other departments, and remain calm during busy service periods.
