Destination Guide

Australia is a large island country offering hospitality opportunities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Cairns and resort areas. Hotels, restaurants, tourism operators and events businesses regularly recruit guest-service, housekeeping, food-and-beverage and management staff. Australian workplace culture is generally informal, punctual and focused on safety, teamwork and respectful communication. Lifestyle benefits include beaches, national parks, diverse food, outdoor activities and multicultural communities, although Sydney accommodation and living costs are high. Most overseas workers need an appropriate visa, such as a Working Holiday visa, employer-sponsored visa or student visa with work rights.
