Job Description

The Oficial de Mantenimiento is responsible for keeping hotel facilities, guest rooms, equipment and building systems safe, functional and well presented. Typical duties include preventive and corrective maintenance, basic electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning work, repairs, inspections and responding promptly to guest or departmental requests. Candidates are generally expected to have vocational training or practical experience in hotel maintenance, building services or a related trade. Electrical or plumbing knowledge, safe working practices, teamwork, flexibility and a service-minded attitude are important. Experience in a luxury hotel is advantageous, as is the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Spanish language skills are normally required; additional languages may be useful.
