Job Description

The Front Office Duty Manager oversees daily reception and guest-service operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out, accurate room allocation, prompt complaint resolution, and strong communication between departments. Candidates typically need previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel, excellent spoken English, sound knowledge of front-office procedures and hotel systems, and a professional, guest-focused manner. Arabic or other languages may be advantageous. The role expects flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure, coach colleagues, handle operational decisions, and maintain Marriott and Sheraton service standards. Experience with Opera or similar property-management systems is often preferred.
