General Accountant

Job Description

The General Accountant supports the hotel’s finance operation by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, income audits, accounts payable and receivable records, and month-end closing activities. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field, with relevant hotel or commercial accounting experience preferred. Familiarity with accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, financial controls, and reporting procedures is expected. The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, strong organization, and the ability to meet deadlines. The successful candidate should communicate clearly, work well with colleagues across departments, identify discrepancies, and follow Marriott and hotel financial policies. Knowledge of local regulations and previous experience in a multicultural hospitality environment would be advantageous.
