Job Description

The Apprentice Chef supports the kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, plating, cleaning and maintaining food-safety standards while completing a recognised commercial cookery apprenticeship. Applicants should be enthusiastic about hospitality, willing to learn, reliable and able to work efficiently in a busy hotel kitchen. Basic kitchen experience is helpful but not always essential. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes and instructions, maintain hygiene and workplace safety standards, manage time effectively, work cooperatively with chefs and stewarding staff, and provide consistent food quality. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays is generally required.
