Assistant Financial Controller

Job Description

The Assistant Financial Controller supports the hotel’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance. Typical requirements include a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; relevant hotel or commercial finance experience; strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems; and good Excel skills. Professional accounting qualifications are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to prepare accurate reports, monitor revenues and expenses, assist with audits, maintain effective controls, and support the Financial Controller and hotel leadership team. Attention to detail, integrity, analytical ability, clear communication, confidentiality, and the capacity to meet deadlines in a busy hospitality environment are essential. Experience with Marriott systems or luxury hotel operations would be beneficial.
