Job Description

The Commis III (Pastry) supports the pastry team with daily preparation, baking, decorating and presentation of breads, desserts and other pastry items. Typical requirements include basic pastry or culinary training, food-handling knowledge, good hygiene practices and a willingness to work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but entry-level candidates may be considered. The successful candidate is expected to follow recipes and portion standards, maintain cleanliness, store ingredients correctly, operate kitchen equipment safely, assist senior pastry chefs and meet Marriott and Westin quality standards. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and public holidays, teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude are essential.
