Destination Guide

Phulay Bay is located near Krabi, on Thailand’s Andaman coast, close to attractions such as Ao Nang, Railay Beach, Koh Hong, Koh Lanta, and Phi Phi. Hospitality jobs are commonly available in resorts, spas, restaurants, marine-tour operators, and wellness businesses, although opportunities are seasonal and competition can be strong. Life is generally relaxed, warm, and outdoors-focused, with beaches, island trips, Thai food, markets, and a friendly local culture. Employees should respect Buddhist traditions, dress appropriately at temples, and learn basic Thai phrases. Rent and transport costs vary, while resort accommodation can make relocation easier. Foreign nationals normally need a Thai employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and work permit before starting employment; requirements should be confirmed with the employer and Thai authorities. Krabi International Airport provides convenient access, with onward road or boat transfers depending on the destination.
