Job Description

The Commis II supports the kitchen team with food preparation, basic cooking, ingredient handling, portion control and maintaining clean, organized work areas. Candidates should ideally have culinary training or previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or resort kitchen. A basic understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen equipment is expected. The role requires teamwork, discipline, attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. The successful candidate should be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, remain calm during busy service periods, and follow Marriott and Westin quality standards. Physical stamina, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are important.
