The Carpenter is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and constructing wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, fittings, and other property elements throughout the resort. Requirements typically include practical carpentry experience, knowledge of woodworking tools and materials, and the ability to read basic measurements or plans. Experience in hotel maintenance or a large resort is advantageous. The candidate is expected to work safely, complete maintenance requests promptly, maintain high workmanship standards, support preventive maintenance, and cooperate with the engineering and other hotel departments. Good communication, reliability, physical fitness, attention to detail, and flexibility for shifts, weekends, and emergency call-outs are important.
