Destination Guide

Singapore is a highly connected island city-state and a major hub for hospitality, tourism, technology, finance and regional headquarters jobs. Opportunities are available in hotels, restaurants, aviation, events, digital marketing, sales, information technology and corporate services. Its culture is multicultural, with English widely used alongside Mandarin, Malay and Tamil; local life blends Chinese, Malay, Indian and international influences. The lifestyle is safe, efficient and urban, with excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping and convenient access to Southeast Asia. Housing and childcare can be expensive, especially in central areas, so budgeting is important.
