Destination Guide

Thailand offers strong hospitality opportunities in Krabi, Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Phi Phi and other resort destinations. Front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, spa, diving, sales and guest-relations roles are commonly available, with peak hiring before the high season. Thai culture values politeness, respect for hierarchy, calm communication and a friendly service approach. Island life is scenic and sociable, but transport, healthcare and living costs can vary considerably; seasonal work may also bring fluctuating income. Foreign nationals generally need an employer-sponsored Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit before legally working. Employers often assist with documentation, though candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, insurance and visa support in writing. Krabi provides a quieter lifestyle than Phuket, with beaches, limestone cliffs, outdoor activities and access to nearby islands. English is essential in international resorts, while basic Thai is highly valuable for daily life and teamwork.
