Job Description

The Head Chef – Indonesian Cuisine leads the preparation and presentation of authentic Indonesian dishes across the resort’s restaurants and dining outlets. Requirements typically include professional culinary training, substantial experience in Indonesian cuisine, strong knowledge of local ingredients, food safety and hygiene standards, menu planning, costing, and kitchen operations. The successful candidate is expected to supervise and develop culinary colleagues, maintain consistent quality, manage inventory and costs, support creative menu development, and deliver a refined guest experience. Experience in a luxury hotel or international resort, leadership ability, creativity, discipline, and excellent communication skills are likely to be valued. The role may also require flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
