Job Description

The Engineering Technician supports the hotel’s daily maintenance and building services, including electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical equipment, guest-room facilities, and preventive maintenance tasks. Candidates should have relevant technical training, practical experience in hotel, commercial, or building maintenance, and a sound understanding of workplace safety. Electrical, mechanical, or air-conditioning knowledge is advantageous. The role requires a hands-on approach, good troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and the flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate is expected to respond promptly to maintenance requests, maintain accurate records, follow Marriott and Ritz-Carlton standards, protect guest comfort, and work cooperatively with other departments.
