The Audio Visual Technician supports the hotel’s meetings, conferences, banquets and entertainment operations by installing, operating and maintaining sound, lighting, projection, video and related AV equipment. Candidates typically need a vocational certificate, diploma or equivalent technical experience, with practical knowledge of microphones, mixers, speakers, projectors, displays, cabling and basic troubleshooting. Experience in a hotel, events venue or production environment is advantageous.
