Job Description

The Rooms Controller coordinates room assignments, availability, housekeeping status and guest requests to support smooth hotel operations. Candidates should have experience in hotel front office, room control or reservations, along with good knowledge of property-management systems and basic computer skills. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities are essential. The role requires close coordination with Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance, accurate updating of room information, and prompt handling of operational changes. The successful candidate is expected to remain calm under pressure, work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays, maintain professional service standards, and ensure rooms are released efficiently for arriving guests.
