Job Description

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing an assigned kitchen section, preparing food consistently according to recipes, hygiene standards and Four Points by Sheraton procedures. Requirements typically include professional culinary training, previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen, good knowledge of food safety, knife skills and cooking techniques, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate should be organized, dependable, creative and comfortable working shifts, weekends and holidays. Duties include preparing mise en place, cooking and presenting dishes, monitoring stock, reducing waste, maintaining cleanliness and supporting junior kitchen team members.
