Destination Guide

Indonesia offers varied hospitality, tourism, marketing, diving, wellness, and resort-management opportunities across Bali, Java, Lombok, Flores, and the islands of eastern Indonesia. Labuan Bajo, on Flores, is a scenic gateway to Komodo National Park and is known for boat trips, diving, sunsets, and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. Living costs are generally lower than Bali, although imported goods and accommodation can be expensive in a developing destination. Local culture is friendly and community-oriented, with Indonesian widely spoken alongside regional languages; modest dress and respect for religious customs are appreciated. Foreign employees normally require employer sponsorship, an appropriate work permit, and a KITAS or related immigration status. A tourist visa does not authorize employment. Candidates should confirm housing, flights, healthcare, tax, insurance, and relocation support directly with the employer before accepting an offer.
