Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is a highly international destination with strong opportunities in hotels, restaurants, tourism, retail, aviation, events, and business services. Abu Dhabi offers a modern, safe lifestyle, excellent infrastructure, beaches, shopping, cultural attractions, and a diverse expatriate community. Arabic is the official language, while English is widely used at work. The culture values hospitality, respect, modesty, and awareness of Islamic customs, particularly during Ramadan. Summers are extremely hot, so indoor facilities and air-conditioned transport are important. Most overseas employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas; the employer commonly arranges medical checks, Emirates ID processing, and permits. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, meals, insurance, leave, and return-ticket benefits before relocating. Living costs vary, with housing usually the largest expense.
