Job Description

The Telephone Operator handles internal and external calls, guest requests, hotel inquiries, wake-up calls, and message delivery in a professional and timely manner. Candidates should have clear spoken English, strong communication and listening skills, basic computer knowledge, and a polite telephone manner. Previous experience in a hotel switchboard, front office, or customer-service position is preferred. Knowledge of additional languages and familiarity with hotel systems are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to remain calm under pressure, protect guest confidentiality, record information accurately, coordinate with hotel departments, and provide warm, efficient service consistent with luxury hospitality standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is normally required.
