Job Description

The Housekeeping Assistant Manager supports the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing room attendants, public-area cleaners, linen operations, and daily room inspections. Requirements typically include hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory or team-lead experience, strong organizational skills, attention to cleanliness and detail, and practical Japanese communication ability. Experience with hotel housekeeping systems and luxury or international properties is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to coordinate staffing, maintain Marriott and Sheraton service standards, respond promptly to guest requests, manage supplies, support training, monitor safety and hygiene, and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. A professional, hands-on leadership style and the ability to collaborate with Front Office and Engineering teams are important.
