Job Description

The Sous Chef – Banquet supports the Executive Chef and leads banquet kitchen operations, including menu preparation, food production, plating, and service for conferences, weddings, and other events. Candidates should have professional culinary training and several years of experience in a hotel, resort, or high-volume banquet kitchen, with strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, portion control, and cost management. The role requires leadership, organization, creativity, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. The successful candidate is expected to supervise and develop culinary colleagues, maintain Marriott quality standards, coordinate closely with service and events teams, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
