Job Description

The Food & Beverage Assistant Manager supports the daily operation of restaurants, bars, banquet services and related outlets at Courtyard by Marriott Sapporo. Typical requirements include hospitality or food-and-beverage experience, strong customer-service and communication skills, knowledge of service standards, staff supervision ability, and confidence handling guest concerns and operational issues. Japanese-language ability is generally important for guest and team communication, while English or other languages are valuable in an international hotel. The successful candidate is expected to maintain Marriott service standards, support scheduling and training, monitor quality and hygiene, control costs, and help create a welcoming guest experience. Flexibility for shifts, weekends and holidays is normally required.
