Job Description

The Reservations Agent manages room bookings, amendments, cancellations and guest enquiries through telephone, email and reservation systems. Candidates should have hotel reservations or front-office experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail and basic computer knowledge. Familiarity with Marriott systems, Opera or similar property-management software is advantageous. The role requires professional English; additional languages and knowledge of the Malaysian tourism market may be beneficial. The successful candidate is expected to provide accurate, friendly and timely service, explain room types and rates clearly, meet booking and conversion targets, protect guest information and coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales and Housekeeping. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required.
