Company Info

Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa is an upscale beachfront resort on Koh Samui, Thailand, operated under the Renaissance Hotels brand of Marriott International. The resort combines contemporary Thai-inspired design with a relaxed island setting and provides accommodation, restaurants, bars, spa services, swimming pools, meeting facilities, and wedding or event venues. Located on the quieter southeastern coast near Lamai Beach, it serves leisure travelers, couples, families, and international guests. As part of Marriott International, the property follows global standards for hospitality, guest service, food safety, training, and associate development. Employees may benefit from a multicultural working environment, Marriott employee rates, staff meals, and other hotel-specific benefits. Destination Guide

Koh Samui is one of Thailand’s most popular islands, known for palm-fringed beaches, warm weather, waterfalls, temples, markets, and a strong tourism economy. Job opportunities are concentrated in hotels, resorts, restaurants, spas, travel companies, diving operations, retail, and construction. Hospitality work is often busiest during the high season, roughly December to April, though resorts recruit year-round. Thai culture values politeness, respect, modest clothing at temples, and maintaining a calm manner. Island life is generally relaxed, but living costs can be higher than on the mainland, especially near popular beaches. Employers may provide staff accommodation, meals, uniforms, or transport. Foreign nationals normally need a suitable Non-Immigrant B visa and a Thai work permit arranged with employer support; requirements vary by nationality and position. Flights connect Samui with Bangkok and other destinations, while ferries serve nearby islands and the mainland.
