The resort reflects traditional Qatari architecture and hospitality while offering the service standards associated with the Ritz-Carlton brand. Its facilities typically include guest rooms and villas, restaurants, meeting and event spaces, a private beach, swimming pools, and a large spa inspired by regional wellness traditions. Destination Guide

Qatar is a compact Gulf country rather than an island, with Doha as its main employment and lifestyle centre. Hospitality opportunities are available in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, catering companies, events, tourism, and airport services. The culture combines strong Islamic and Qatari traditions with a large international workforce. Modest dress, respectful behaviour, and awareness of local customs are important, particularly during Ramadan. Doha offers modern malls, beaches, museums, cafés, sports facilities, and desert excursions, while summers are extremely hot and humid. Employers commonly sponsor work visas and residence permits for overseas employees, subject to medical checks and documentation. Interns should confirm whether accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and airfare are included. Before relocating, verify the written contract, visa status, expected working hours, stipend, and living arrangements. Public transport is improving, although taxis and ride-hailing services remain widely used.
